KBIHU ‘Aisyiyah Nashita Al Hujjaj Prepares Pilgrims for the Holy Land
BANDA ACEH — A solemn and reflective atmosphere enveloped the Hajj ritual orientation program (manasik) organized by the KBIHU ‘Aisyiyah Nashita Al Hujjaj in Banda Aceh. The guidance session was specifically designed to prepare prospective pilgrims mentally, spiritually, and physically ahead of their journey to the Holy Land.
In his opening address, the representative of KBIHU ‘Aisyiyah Nashita Al Hujjaj emphasized that performing the Hajj is not merely a physical journey or a matter of procedural readiness, but primarily a spiritual journey requiring absolute sincerity (ikhlas) and strong mental resilience. Pilgrims were urged to purify their intentions solely for the sake of Allah SWT and leave behind all worldly motives.
Throughout the orientation session, participants received comprehensive guidance covering the fundamental rituals of Hajj, practical tips for maintaining physical health in extreme weather conditions, and strategies for managing emotional endurance amidst large crowds. Speakers reminded pilgrims that patience, self-discipline, and mutual cooperation among group members are key factors in achieving an accepted pilgrimage (Mabrur Hajj).
To support smooth operations during the pilgrimage, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) continues to enhance public services and digital systems for Indonesian pilgrims. Integrated health screening procedures and pre-departure briefings (manasik) remain top priorities to minimize health risks and operational obstacles in Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, community-based Hajj guidance groups such as KBIHU ‘Aisyiyah play a vital role in providing continuous spiritual mentorship and practical education. By bridging official government regulations with community needs, these training sessions ensure that pilgrims not only understand the mandatory rituals (arkan) but are also mentally prepared to navigate logistical challenges throughout their journey.
